Â CHLORINEDOSING SYSTEM
Â Rawwater may contain living micro-organisms and organics which are objection aMembrane as it may cause fouling to deteriorate the performance.
Â Even water may contain ferrous whichcan be oxidized to ferric oxide which is settling down in storage tank. We haveoffered a Hypo chlorite dosing system for this purpose.
Â About 3-4 ppm of sodium hypo chloritesolution is dosed in raw water storage tank. This reacts with water to form ahypo chlorite acids which acts as disinfecting agent.
Â For this purpose one no. of HDPE hypochlorite solution preparation tank along with one nos. of dosing pumps areprovided. Required suction/discharge pipe work in pvc construction is providedwith isolation valves.
Â Dosage rate is adjusted as per theactual requirement, which may vary on case to case basis
Â OneNos. of Raw water is required in for storage of chlorinated water havingappropriate capacity.
Â The tank is fitted with PVC pipe work& isolation valves and suitable type of level indicator.
Â AHorizontal Centrifugal type of pump in Stainless Steel construction has beenprovided for supplying Raw water to Pressure Sand Filter Unit.
Â Necessary Suction/discharge pipe workin s.s construction with isolation valves are also provided up to PSF Unit.
Â PRESSURE SAND FILTER
Â Raw Water isfirst filtered by filtration unit in series prior feedingÂ R.O. Plant. Pressure Sand Filter Unit isprovided for removal of suspended matters & turbidity from raw water.
Â PSF Unit is a SS vertical PressureVessel. Internally, it is fitted with bottom collecting system. Uniform grades silicaquartz sand is charged on the supporting media of pebbles and gravels.
Â This unit is fitted with SS frontalpipe work and Multiport Valve externally. During service cycle water is passedin downward direction through sand bed, thus entrapping suspended matter & turbidparticles.
Over a period of time, sand bed gets chockeddue to suspended matters resulting higher pressure drop and lesser floe. Atthis stage filter bed need to be backwashed.
When pressure drop across the sand bedincreases beyond the specified limit or quality of filtered water determinates,whichever is earlier.
Â Regeneration involves backwash &rinsing of Sand Bed as below. For backwashing service water is passed inreverse direction of service cycle to loosen the filtering media bed.
Â Due to this, entrapped suspendedmatters get free and come out along with effluent water.
Â Backwashing is continued for about10- 15 minutes or till the effluent coming out is clear For Rinsing of SandBed: Service water is passed in downward direction to settle down the sand bed.
Â The effluent water is drained forabout 5 minutes time to ensure all unclear water is drained down.
Â TheChlorinated water may oxidize the membrane and to avoid the same precautionarywe have provided Sodium Meta Sophie dosing system Dosage rate is 4-5 mg/liter.
Â A HDPE chemical preparation tank withan electronics diaphragm type dosing pump is provided for this.
Â Natural waterÂ maycontain Color, Odor, Chlorine Organics in different proportion, which isundesirable for potable application, and hence, it is necessary to remove thesame from water.
Â If raw water is chlorinated for die-infection,it is necessary to remove the free Chlorine feeding to R.O System. Chlorinebeing a strong oxidizing agent, it damages R.O. Membranes.
Â Activated Carbon can remove Chlorine,Odor, & Color while passing the water through carbon bed along with Odor &color. These Carbon granules having larger surface area and specific propertyto absorb organics.
ACF Unit is a FRP vertical pressure vessel.Internally it is fitted with strainer on bottom collecting system. The unit isfitted with SS frontal pipe work & MPV externally.
Â A granular activated carbon ischarged on the supporting media of Coarse & Fine Silex. During servicecycle water is passed in down ward direction through Carbon Bed, which removesChlorine & Odor from water.
Â When pressure drop across the CarbonBed increased beyond the specified limit of or quality of filter waterdeteriorates, whichever is earlier the unites isolated for regeneration.
Â The regeneration involves backwashing& rinsing of Carbon Bed. Over a period of time, life of carbon getsexhausted which can be checked during laboratory testing. Particularly iodinevalue is most important for this application. Generally carbon is replaced oncein a year.
The hardness salts of calcium & magnesium are likelyto be precipitated if concentration exceeds its solubility limit& it mayfaults the membranes resulting into scaling which ultimately leads to poortreated water quality fromÂ R.O. System.
Â To prevent this a anti Scalent dosing(scale inhibitor) dosing system is provided. Normally a scale inhabitation likeParma care 191 or equivalent chemical is dosed in feed water.
Â Dosage rate is 4-5 mg/liter. A HDPE chemicalpreparation tank with an electronics diaphragm type dosing pump is provided forthis.
This kind of Micron Cartridge Filter having Series offiltration with the20 Micron , 10 Micron , 5 Micron , 1 Micron , 0.45 Micron& 0.2 Micron Nominal & Absolute Micron Cartridge.
Â This is a Consumable Cartridge andshould replace it after Days of operation.
Â This for Extra Safety of your Productwater as it comes through the followed filtration and there are some chances toslippages for any particles which can be stop through the Cartridge also 1,0.45 , 0.2 micron cartridge filter will also take care of Bacteriologicalgrowth up to 0.2 micron.
Â ForReverse Osmosis Process to take place feed pressure of water need to be raised.
Â For this purpose a Vertical MultistageCentrifugal High Pressure Pump in S.S construction is providedÂ R.O. SystemÂ requiresoperating pressure of about14-16 kg/cm
Â High-pressure pump is fitted withS.S. discharge pipe work with necessary control valves.
Â Necessary instruments like a High PressureSwitch, Pressure Gauge and re-circulation valves are provided for saferoperation of system.
Â REVERSE OSMOSISSYSTEM
Â ReverseOsmosis SystemÂ rejects 97 - 99% of total dissolved solids by the principleof Osmosis.
Â This system consists of a R.O. Moduleassembly mounted on M.S. Skid. High pressure rating FRP Pressure Vessel isfitted on the skid which houses spirally wound membrane elements in series.
Â In RO System feed soften water isdivided into two streams viz Product& Reject water. Product water istreated water having lesser TDS.
Â Reject water is highly concentratedwater, which is not to be used for any purpose but drained.
Â Feed water at elevated pressure isfirst fed to first Pressure Vessel treated water is collected in center coretube.
Â Treated water from each membrane iscollected jointly in a common product water storage tank and reject is drained.
PRODUCTWATER STORAGE TANK
A Horizontal Centrifugal type of pump inStainless Steel construction has been provided for supplying Raw water toPressure Sand Filter Unit.
Necessary Suction/discharge pipe work ins.s construction with isolation valves are also provided up to PSF Unit.
Pump in Stainless Steel construction hasbeen provided for supplying water to Mineral Adding System.
Â ThroughR.O. treated water is free from all the micro-biological impurities likeBacteria, Virus, etc.
Â It may redevelop again in waterduring prolonged storage. For disinfections of water is essential for ReverseOsmosis Application before Filling & Sealing in bottle.
Â Hence, a online Ultra VioletSterilizer is provided for disinfections of R.O. treated water before fillingin pre-cleaned PET Bottles.
Â The water to be disinfected is passedthrough U.V. System, which consists of U.V. Tubes which radiates high intensityUltra Violet Rays, which in turn kills the microorganisms.
Â This system consists of a S.Sfinished surface housing with Ultraviolet Lamps fitted in it.

Â OZONE GENERATOR
Â Though R.O. System rejects all themicro organisms like bacterial &virus and even after passing through U.V.System it may redevelop in packed bottles over a period of time.
Â Hence, it is necessary to disinfectR.O. Product water prior to bottling filling. This is very much essential toensure good Mineral Water Quality as per the standards.
Â This Ozone Generator will give yourwater Oxygen Rich water and remove the Bacteriological growth and also provideyou the shelf Life of your Packed Bottle water unless it opens for some periodof time. Also this Ozonation of water can add some taste in to your treatedwater.
